Jeremy McNamara

Hello, I’m Jeremy McNamara, founder of JKM Land Co. and a Northern Virginia native. This region is home to me, and I founded JKM Land Co. to focus on identifying the value in land and redevelopment opportunities throughout Northern Virginia.

My background in land acquisition and residential development has given me firsthand experience evaluating properties, identifying development potential, and determining the most practical path forward. I work with property owners and developers to uncover opportunities that may not always be straightforward or apparent through the traditional real estate market.

My experience in feasibility analysis and financial underwriting is complemented by a strong understanding of the public-sector planning, zoning, and permitting process. Looking at a property from both perspectives allows me to identify potential obstacles early, work through private- and public-sector constraints, and develop viable solutions for everyone involved.

I hold an undergraduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Master’s degree in Real Estate from Virginia Commonwealth University. Most recently, I served as Director of Operations and Land Acquisition Manager for Cherry Hill Custom Homes. Prior to Cherry Hill, I worked in Land Acquisition for K. Hovnanian Homes.

My goal is to build long-term relationships and provide property owners and development partners with a high level of service, transparency, and care. I believe the best real estate transactions create value for everyone involved.

Northern Virginia is where I grew up and where I hope to continue building my future. Through JKM Land Co., I want to play a meaningful role in the region’s continued evolution by helping facilitate thoughtful, responsible redevelopment that creates lasting value for the communities around it.
